Grounding.

Grounding exercises are helpful for many situations where you find yourself becoming overwhelmed or distracted by distressing memories, thoughts or feelings. If you find yourself getting caught up in strong emotions like anxiety or anger, or if you catch yourself engaging in stressful circling thoughts, or if you experience a strong painful memory or a flashback Grounding can help bring you back down to earth.

Mental health Apps.

For people who are dealing with common mental health conditions, such as low-level anxiety and milder forms of depression, engaging with apps can be a great resource for support.

Knowing where to start can be overwhelming as there are so many available; therefore, we suggest beginning with the NHS Apps Library, where you will find a wide range of NHS approved and assessed apps.
