York Women’s Counselling Service (YWCS) is seeking a committed individual* to undertake this newly created role to provide operational leadership for the charity. This position would be ideal for a candidate with service management experience who is seeking to move into an overall leadership role.

YWCS delivers professional, low-cost counselling services to women across the city irrespective of their ability to pay.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced  service or fundraising manager to develop their career and join our innovative and growing charity, working with the Counselling Manager and the Board of Trustees to deliver our new, three-year strategic plan.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability in generating income, and also have experience of hands-on operation and oversight.  An appreciation of the importance of working collaboratively as part of a small team is essential.

Salary £35,280 to £37,500 depending on experience, FTE pro rata for 24 hours per week.
