Lord Mayor’s chosen charity!

York Women’s Counselling Service has been selected as one of the chosen charities by the RT Hon Lord Mayor of York, Cllr Chris Cullwick, this year. It's a huge honour for us and we couldn't be prouder.  This recognition is a testament to our commitment to supporting women in their time of need and we are extremely grateful to Cllr Cullwick, Sheriff Sue Hunter and all of the Mayoral party for giving us this wonderful opportunity. 

The Mayoral year runs for the next 12 months and we’re delighted to be joining together to publicise our work and raise much needed funds. The demand for our services continues to be overwhelming, and this support will enable us to expand the support that is there for women who use our services and their families. 

Look out for news and invitations to a great and varied programme of events.  We hope that you’ll want to be involved and share with your friends and contacts too where you can.
