Volunteers are the backbone of YWCS

This Volunteers’ Week, we’re saying a very special THANK YOU to all our volunteers who give their time and talent to York Women's Counselling Service. Without our highly skilled, trained volunteer counsellors and trustees, this service would not be possible.

We currently have 18 amazing volunteer counsellors helping women in York and this week sharing on our social media what volunteering means to them in their own words.

Our Board of Trustees is also made up of women who generously give their time, skills and knowledge to lead the organisation and ensure the charity continues.
