We’re hiring!
Are you a highly organised, friendly, and proactive person looking to use your skills to support women’s mental health and wellbeing?
We’re a small but dedicated team, committed to providing affordable, high-quality counselling to women in York. We are looking for an Office Administrator who will be the first point of contact for our service and will play a key role in ensuring our organisation runs smoothly.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll:
Support women at the point of enquiry with warmth and sensitivity
Keep our office, records, and systems running efficiently
Assist with finance, fundraising, and marketing tasks
Help deliver events and training that strengthen our community
Be part of a supportive team committed to empowering women
We’re looking for someone with strong admin skills, good IT confidence, and a passion for making a positive difference. Experience in the charity or mental health sector is a bonus, but not essential.
Please download the Role Description for more information.
YWCS is committed to fairness, inclusion, and community. We actively welcome applications from women of all backgrounds, particularly those underrepresented in the charity sector.
If you’re excited by this role but unsure whether you’re a perfect fit, we encourage you to apply anyway - we’d love to hear from you.

A warm, values-driven team and supportive working environment.
Flexibility and understanding around working patterns.
Opportunities to learn and grow your skills in administration, communications, and events.
